This eight (8) hour course, “Ethical Policing in Contemporary Times”, is designed to teach
critical areas of law enforcement ethics and decision making, that can be learned in an on-line format. The course covers a legal review, transparency, ethics, social media, de-escalation, use of force, 42 U.S.C § 1983 civil suits, decision making, and other current topics in today’s environment. This self-paced, eight hour course can be completed over an eight day period. It will consist of seven (7) sections and a corresponding quiz in each section.
