Full Description
This course is designed to enhance the skill and knowledge of patrol officers and investigators in the use of advanced undercover operation techniques to investigate narcotics related crimes. The learning outcomes for this course will be for the student to identify the complexities of an undercover operation. The student will identify the various roles and responsibilities, planning, surveillance, the management of confidential sources and the management of money used for the purposes of purchasing illegal drugs. The student will also be able to identify the dangers involved in an undercover operation and ways to mitigate the risk involved. The student will also be able to produce a properly written search warrant.
